How the process works?
Once a convenient date has been arranged for your refurbishment, you will arrive the day before to discuss your requirements in transforming your interior.
The consultation will begin with an assessment of the van. Discussing the colours and fabrics that you would like to use in the refurbishment. Ensuring the scheme blends with the current interior such as the flooring, worktops and cupboards.
To guarantee that complementary materials are found – we always take the fabrics in and choose them within your van- enabling the best colour match.
Once the fabric has been chosen we will then discuss how you would like the design of the upholstery to be made , coverings , cab seats, curtains , tie backs , pelmets and scatter cushions.
Once all your requirements have been finalised ,you have access to our free electric hook up point located the front of the premises. We will then measure up the van and run through the requirements with the reluxe team.
You will stay in the van over night and with a bright and early start the refurbishment will begin at 7am. If you have a motorhome we will provide you with a free courtesy car to use during your stay. (which is fully insured on our part)
The process will begin with the removal of pelmets, map pockets and cab seats. These will all be stripped and prepped for the new material.
Once the sizes have been worked out, The material is all hand cut and sent through to the sewing department. All of the material will be pinned up to give a plush effect and over locked to ensure wear ability.
Once sewn up the bedding will be re-foamed using reflex foam and checked.
The cab seats are fully trimmed and eversything is checked before placing back into the van
Pelmets and map pockets are then put back into the van and the assembly is almost complete.
You will arrive back to Reluxe to see the transformation and the look on your face is always our favourite part.
